“Due to a clerical-insurance error on the end of Bull City Smiles I was denied care today because I refused to pay a $300 insurance-related clerical payment prior to receiving care. I was told by phone 1-2 weeks ago that I would be able to receive care and could address the insurance issue later. When I tried to check in for my dental procedure the person at the front desk tried to tell me that “our office manager had tried to reach out to me prior to my appointment.” Did they make contact no. Did they text me to let me know? No. Should I be expected to make a payment on their clerical error in order to get care? No. This is a a nice looking clinical space with kind dentists on the surface but all they care about is collecting their coins (even when the fault lies with them) instead of providing patient care. - a medical professional who also provides patient care”
